Heath's wife and partner in running the business day to day.

Heath's daughter — races GN369 herself (with a Long Beach Sprint Nationals win to prove it) and helps out around the shop.

Our Story

From Downey to Blythe

What's now River Speed & Sport started as Advanced Racing Engines — a machine shop built on custom big block Chevy engine builds, first in Downey, then Bellflower, California.

We've since moved to Blythe, CA and expanded into a full marine performance shop — River Speed & Sport by Advanced Racing Engines.

Same hands, same standards, new name.

Heath races competitively as GN369 in Grand National boat racing, with a Parker Enduro win and years of experience on the water.

His daughter Kaylee races too — she won her own Long Beach Sprint Nationals behind the wheel of GN369.

We wanted a name that reflected where we're headed — but we're proud of where we came from.
